The Irony of Liberal Loudness

If you've been involved in politics for any length of time - you can't help but notice how much louder the liberal voice echoes when compared to its conservative counterpart. Regardless, what's most interesting about this loudness is its irony. For instance, perhaps you've noticed the correlation between rocketing gun sales with liberal movements to increase gun control laws. Or maybe you're aware of the adjustments required in election poll results? Where it seems liberals are all too happy to boast proudly to a voting poll researcher - while conservative voters are less likely to even bother speaking after casting his/her vote.

Is it possible a loud liberal voice has the opposite of its intended affect? In some areas such as gun control - it's so obvious - you would think the liberals would have learned valuable lessons by now - but I doubt it - and I hope they haven't. Nevertheless, one burning question remains - what effect would a loud conservative voice have on the politics? From where I stand - probably a good one - as it seems a quiet conservative voice carries more weight than that of a loud liberal.
